Sales Plan: Land Readiness, Prove the Loop, Expand to Operator
Updated: 2026-07-22. Re-authored against Rōvn master canon generation 8 (effective 2026-07-21). Supersedes all earlier versions of this page.
The motion: land Readiness on a real roster, implement without system replacement, prove chase reduction and receipt quality, then expand into Operator. The seed is the locked GTM triangle: one anchor ICP-fit organization, one delegation-capable partner pursued in parallel from day one (the non-negotiable vertex), and one agency or contingency bench feeding the same clinician pool. Pre-launch as of July 2026: zero paying customers, zero verified pilots.
Doctrine: AI compresses the work. Source systems prove the facts. Humans make every credentialing, privileging, hiring, and clinical decision.
1. Motion
Founder-led sales until the first repeatable conversion pattern is proven. The CEO owns prospecting, discovery, demo, close, and executive sponsor relationships. Distribution engines, in rough order of leverage today: founder-led sales, advisor and operator introductions, roster deposits, applicant capture through the buyer's existing funnel, agency bench deposits, associations and credentialing partners, educational institutions, content and worker referrals, and job syndication with inbound capture. GTM does not claim network liquidity before it exists.
2. Entry Motion
- Land Readiness on a real roster or candidate flow.
- Implement with minimal change to the organization's existing systems.
- Prove chase reduction, time improvement, and receipt quality.
- Expand into Operator.
- Invite workers to claim the evidence already assembled.
- Capture applicants through the buyer's existing funnel.
- Add reusable evidence and monitoring.
- Introduce verified talent access only after consent and density.
- Add ecosystem READ access and deeper integrations.
3. Message by Trigger
| Trigger | Lead with |
|---|---|
| Hiring or expansion | Qualified intake and Work Activation speed |
| Compliance and expirations | Monitoring and chase removal |
| Coverage pressure | Future assignment risk and exact remediation |
| Billing leakage | Readiness-to-bill and evidence |
| Existing credentialing platform | Coexistence, automation, and reuse: read what they have, operate alongside it, earn the replacement |
| Worker | No repeated packet, continued ownership |
4. Discovery
Discover: the exact workflow; the people involved; current systems; average chase touches; days to start; days to bill; expirations and missed renewals; affected assignments; audit pain; implementation constraints; data and BAA requirements; decision authority; willingness to pay.
The facility baseline must also capture:
- coordinator touches and hours per Resolution Case;
- worker asks and repeated-evidence requests;
- accepted-offer-to-clear-to-start days;
- clear-to-practice days by site and scope;
- clear-to-bill days by organization, TIN, site, and payer;
- blocked clinician-days;
- open-role days and qualified-candidate-to-ready time;
- enrollment denials and write-offs;
- temporary coverage, overtime, and premium labor;
- second Work Activation time and marginal cost;
- named-human decision and receipt completeness.
5. Demo Narrative
One coherent flow, on synthetic data:
- Import a roster.
- Detect a real readiness gap.
- Open one Resolution Case.
- Contact the worker once.
- Collect or reuse evidence.
- Show extraction and provenance.
- Apply organization policy.
- Present the human decision.
- Recompute readiness.
- Recheck affected work.
- Show the receipt and timeline.
6. Pilot Shape
The pilot is deliberately small:
- one organization;
- one workflow;
- one primary owner;
- one real or honestly attested source path;
- one complete Work Activation loop;
- defined baseline and success metrics;
- named support and decision owners.
Pilot value is measured against the facility's own baseline, never a promised percentage:
administrative chase hours x loaded labor cost
+ blocked clinician-days x facility-validated daily contribution
+ credentialing or enrollment denials and write-offs
+ avoidable temporary, overtime, or premium coverage cost
+ repeated verification and implementation cost
Rōvn does not promise a savings percentage or dollar result before a facility pilot establishes the baseline and measures the result. Dated industry benchmarks may frame the size of the problem only when attributed. Synthetic calculations are labeled illustrative and are never presented as customer outcomes.
7. Expansion and Commercial Proof
Expand by: more monitored Work Relationships, more facilities, more roles, more workflows, more sources, deeper integration, hiring and worker-pool access, coverage and scheduling overlay, and API and ecosystem access.
A sale is not complete because a dashboard loaded. Proof requires: real staff usage, completed work, named decisions, a measured baseline and outcome, verified receipts, and a renewal or expansion signal.
8. Objection Anchors
| Objection | Answer |
|---|---|
| Is AI deciding? | No. AI compresses the work. Source systems prove the facts. Humans make every credentialing, privileging, hiring, and clinical decision. AI never auto-rejects; score the packet, not the person. |
| Are you certified? | HIPAA-aligned, BAA available. Rōvn does not claim HIPAA certification, SOC 2 certification, NCQA certification, or JCAHO validation. The NCQA-CVO path is a planned trajectory, not a current status. |
| We already have a credentialing platform. | Read what they have. Operate alongside it. Earn the replacement. Rōvn coexists with the current stack, removes the chase, and adds receipts; it does not require a rip-and-replace launch. |
| Why does billing urgency matter? | Billing for an improperly-credentialed provider remains exposed to False Claims Act liability under Medicare's 60-Day Rule. |
| What does it cost? | Readiness at $2,500 per month is the public entry. Everything above it is quoted under governance. The billable unit is active monitored lives, and reuse never raises price within a band. Workers are free. |
| Is this a staffing play? | No. No placement, success, commission, or finder fees, ever. The organization makes every hiring, credentialing, and privileging decision. |
9. Year-One Design Targets
These are design targets, not logged results. Zero are achieved as of July 2026.
- First paying Readiness customer, with density rising in that customer's cluster.
- One delegation-capable partner signed (the non-negotiable triangle vertex).
- Founding CCCO engaged (a senior credentialing and CVO operator).
- NCQA-CVO certification clock started from real pilot verifications.
- Worker-liveness targets on the first deposited roster: at least 40 percent of deposited Passports claimed, at least 25 percent of claimed Passports active in the trailing 90 days.
- Instrument the zero-rework Work Activation rate compass in the first pilot. The compass has no measured value yet and no compass number is quoted externally without the measurement behind it.
