Roadmap: An Evidence Ladder, Not a Feature List
Status: July 2026 · aligned to canon generation 8. This replaces the May 2026 time-phased roadmap. Rōvn's roadmap is milestone-gated, never calendar-gated: each phase is earned by checkable proof, and no phase is marketed before the prior one is proven.
The strategic sequence
- Healthcare Readiness.
- End-to-end healthcare Operator.
- Worker Passport and verified talent density.
- Healthcare hiring and operating network.
- Healthcare workforce utility.
The company earns each stage. It does not market stage five while stage one is unproven.
Phase 0: prove one governed loop
- Close remaining trust defects and hold the fail-closed real-data gate.
- Onboard one facility only after the real-data gate clears.
- Run one Resolution Case end to end: detection, one worker ask, evidence collection or reuse, organization policy, named-human decision, recomputed readiness, and a signed Work Activation receipt (a Work Activation is approved to start, with proof).
- Instrument zero-rework, labor, time, retry, and duplicate-outreach measures.
- Sign and convert the first paying pilot.
- Start the NCQA-CVO certification clock from the first real pilot verifications; it is an 18-to-24-month asset that cannot be compressed later.
- Pursue a delegation-capable partner in parallel from day one.
Phase 1: prove repeatable facility operation
- Expand Readiness and Operator across the facility roster.
- Activate dependable notifications and support; prove implementation time and adoption.
- Add the most valuable contracted source adapters.
- Prove post-hire monitoring and coverage-risk prevention.
- Demonstrate a materially cheaper second Work Activation in a new context. This is a kill criterion, not a vanity metric: if the second activation is not materially faster and cheaper than the first, the network thesis is wrong.
Phase 2: activate the network
- Grow verified Passport density; launch governed opportunity and application flows through HIRE.
- Connect facility recruiting agents and worker agents through explicit consent, behind the counsel and bias-audit gates.
- Add ATS, HCM, scheduling, credentialing, and payer integrations.
- Make READ and webhooks reliable ecosystem products.
Phase 3: earn delegated reuse
- Mature CVO operations and pursue applicable certification.
- Sign delegation relationships and prove legal and operational reuse of verification.
- Publish defensible reuse economics and accuracy evidence.
Phase 4: expand the category
- Add professions and jurisdictions through versioned Recognition Regimes.
- Prove international healthcare use cases under the rule: portable evidence, local recognition.
How financing maps to the ladder
The financing sequence is milestone-based. The YC Fall 2026 application was submitted on 2026-07-10 and is in review. The plan holds a lean burn through the proof-building window, with the real round sized against actual proof. Six checkable provables anchor that window: verification integrity closed in production, one delegation-capable partner signed, the founding Chief Credentialing and Compliance Officer landed, the first paying Readiness customer live with reuse density rising, the NCQA-CVO clock started from real pilot verifications, and worker-liveness targets hit on the first deposited roster (40 percent of Passports claimed, 25 percent active in the trailing 90 days). Detail lives in 02.1 Use of Funds and 11.6 Use-of-Funds (interactive).
Honest risks
- Pilot conversion lag. Mitigation: one facility, one workflow, one primary owner, defined baseline and success metrics.
- Source access remains gated. Mitigation: honest evidence states, multiple source modes, contracted adapters, and a prioritized activation roadmap.
- Network economics do not improve. Treated as a kill criterion and measured from the first repeat activation.
- Scope outruns proof. Mitigation: Readiness stays the wedge; every expansion is tied to an explicit proof gate.
