Why now
Why build this now?
Our thesis: better AI makes administrative work easier to prepare. Healthcare still needs current evidence, permission and a person responsible for each decision.

Why now
Useful AI needs the context to act.
A model can help with a form, a document or a message. It cannot safely complete a healthcare workforce workflow without knowing what is current, who may act and who must decide.
As agents take on more administrative work, the operating context around that work becomes more valuable: source evidence, permission, timing and accountable human decisions. Rōvn is being built to connect that information to the next task and preserve what happened.
Why this team now
There is enough signal to earn a real operating test.
12 non-binding letters of intent were acknowledged by 12 healthcare organizations between July 7 and September 21, 2026. Three additional letters are out and not yet acknowledged.
The next step is to turn those conversations into an agreed deployment scope, a signed paid pilot and measured work from baseline to first shift.
Letter packet reviewed October 1, 2026. Non-binding interest is not a customer contract or revenue.
The product opportunity is the complete loop.
Document extraction, drafting and reminders are useful pieces of a workflow. Their business value depends on what happens after the output: someone accepts the evidence, a destination records the change, or an exception reaches the person authorized to resolve it.
Our thesis is that increasingly capable models make more administrative tasks feasible, while increasing the importance of the context around them. A more fluent model still needs a reliable identity, the right facility rule, current evidence, a permitted action and a way to learn that the work was actually accepted. Rōvn is designed to maintain those relationships as a continuing operating record.
This makes model improvement an input to the product. We intend to evaluate and replace models for bounded tasks while retaining the source history, permissions and decision record outside the model. The facility should not have to reconstruct its operating process each time a model or vendor changes.
Technology thesis and planned architecture. Current AI activation status and evaluation prerequisites are recorded on Trust and security; this is not a claim that agents currently run customer operations.
Start with a reason to use it today.
A professional network needs participation to be useful. Our intended entry provides a reason for each side to participate before a large network exists: a clinician can manage requirements and a useful career record; a facility can coordinate a real workforce process.
The professional relationship can deepen as that utility repeats. Renewals, another opportunity, a referral or a new role can bring the clinician back. The facility has ongoing work after the first hire, including current-workforce requirements, exceptions and readiness. These are the proposed foundations for a healthcare career network built on verified work.
Broader communities and intelligence products follow demonstrated use. We do not need to assume a large social graph, a data marketplace or cross-employer acceptance to justify testing the first facility workflow. Each expansion has a separate value proposition and a separate evidence requirement.
Earn a place in an existing operation.
The adoption strategy is to understand the facility’s actual process, agree one valuable outcome and fit the first deployment around the systems and people already responsible for it. A bounded initial scope gives the buyer a practical decision: whether this workflow is worth measuring and paying to improve.
- Start where the handoff matters
- Select a workflow with a visible owner, a measurable beginning and ending, and source routes that can be used legitimately. A large addressable market does not substitute for an eligible first deployment.
- Make the first result useful locally
- The facility must benefit even if no other employer accepts a portable record. Cross-facility reuse can strengthen the case later without being a dependency for the first purchase.
- Make setup proportionate
- Imports, reusable reviewed configuration and a narrow activation path should reduce preparation. Measure customer effort and Rōvn effort; neither is free because it happens before the first invoice.
- Widen after the work holds
- Add another cohort, site or connected outcome when the earlier scope is accepted and supportable. Whole-facility understanding can grow in parallel without activating every department at once.
Timing is an operating hypothesis to test.
The counterfactual is the facility’s existing process, including improvements it could make without buying Rōvn. The pilot should show whether the product creates enough additional value after setup, review and support to justify the recurring cost.
If a narrow workflow improves but requires persistent founder intervention, we have learned where automation and implementation need work. If buyers value the result but cannot procure or authorize it, the entry scope or delivery route needs adjustment. If the gain survives those costs and customers continue, the timing thesis gains evidence.
The near-term ambition is therefore concrete: signed scope, an accepted baseline, a real end-to-end result and a decision to continue. The execution plan makes the dated goals and the evidence behind them explicit.
